Reading the indices
Check the widget’s “Last Updated” date before using the figures. Optimal Blue aggregates eligible rate locks and updates the indices with the previous day’s activity; weekends and holidays are excluded. The index rate is not APR and is not adjusted for individual buy-up or buy-down decisions. Changes and 30-day ranges refer to the provider’s index data, not a change to your own mortgage quote.
